Like any other vehicle, your Mercedes-Benz needs service to stay at peak performance. To make the maintenance process for owners easy, all late-model (2009 and newer) Mercedes-Benz cars come equipped with the Mercedes-Benz Maintenance System. After 20,000 miles or 2 years, Service B is recommended as a follow-up to Service A.

Schedule B) 20,000-Miles Required Maintenance Schedule*

The B Service first visit is at approximately 20,000 miles or 1 year after the previous service. Then it is typically every 20,000 miles or 2 years (approximately). This is for model year 2009 and newer. Please see service advisor for all 2015 Mercedes Benz A/B service specifics.

The need for Service B, like that for Service A, varies with the vehicle’s specifics and is not time dependent. You will need a Service B at approximately 20,000, 40,000, 60,000, 80,000, 100,000 miles (etc.). The exact time is determined by the vehicle’s Flexible Service System.

• Replacing the vehicle's oil filter and synthetic motor oil, and combination or cabin dust filter
• Inspecting brakes for component problems
• Inspecting and correcting tire pressure
• Cabin Dust/Combination Filter Replacement
• Checking fluid levels and modifying them according to the manufacturer’s instructions
• Resetting the counter for the following Service B visit

In performing Service B, Mercedes-Benz is careful to take into account your vehicle’s specific features.
